Introduction: Adapting and analyzing different aspects of educational programs with other countries is one of the strategies to improve the quality of educational systems. In this study, the nursing education system at the وdoctoral level in Iran, Manchester, England and Norway has been compared. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted in 2023 with an analytical-comparative approach. The data was extracted by internet search in databases of selected universities and with main keywords in English and Farsi. In order to analyze and adapt the selected educational systems, the Bereday model has been used in four ways: description, interpretation, comparison and comparison. Results: It is with the difference that in Iran, more emphasis is placed on the rule of Islamic values, and inEngland, more attention is paid to the development and international scientific leadership, and in Norway, with a humanistic approach, more attention is paid to improving the quality of human life in the global arena. The nursing education system in Iran is based on a doctorate in philosophy, with a strict approach in the form
of full-time education, face-to-face and based on a comprehensive exam and presentation of an essay, but in Norway and England, by offering a clinical doctorate, it has created more variety and facilities in the nursing education system and in The format of distance education, part-time study, allocating a longer time to research and without the necessity of participating in a comprehensive exam and writing a research paper is provided.
The alternative to the comprehensive exam is the internal and external evaluation of students by reputable scientific authorities. Conclusions: According to the findings, in the countries of England and Norway, by providing educational facilities and variety, they have increased the attractiveness of the nursing educational system at the doctorate level and led to the attraction of international students, but in Iran, strict policies such as the requirement to publish research articles with heavy costs makes the students suffer double burnout and fatigue, it is suggested to use the strengths of other systems to improve the doctoral nursing education system in Iran.
